Hair shedding at month three: mechanism and time course

On the subject in the title: Hair shedding at month three: mechanism and time course Working notes rather than a conclusion.

Reading back through what has been written here about hair shedding, three questions come up every time and only one has ever been answered properly.

Listing all three, with what I think the state of the answer is for each, so the thread can start further along than the last one did.

Delayed gastric emptying: the mechanism behind much of the gastrointestinal side-effect profile. At extreme magnitudes, severe gastroparesis is a rare but serious complication. Distinguishing ordinary gastrointestinal effects from the rare severe end is a clinical judgement.

I am confident about the direction and much less about the magnitude.

Picking up post #2: that is the part I would want checked first.

Hair shedding some months in is described frequently here and is more consistent with rapid weight loss than with any direct drug effect. That distinction matters because it points at protein and pace rather than at the compound.

If that is already documented somewhere, ignore me and link it.
