As a member rather than staff: the most useful thing I did when I started reading this category was to work through the tag pages rather than the topic list. The topic list shows you what is recent. The tags show you what is settled.

Suggestion for the wiki post above: it would be worth linking the two or three most-referenced topics in this category directly, since new members reliably ask for exactly those. Happy to make the edit myself if nobody objects, with a revision note.

br.wikstrom, post #6: Answering the question post #4 raises rather than the one it answers. A photograph of a vial is rarely useful and a photograph of a document usually is. Redact the identifiers before you post either. It is the sort of thing that seems obvious in retrospect and was not at the time. Go to post

Units. Everything needs units. This is why we ask every single time. I have seen the same arithmetic done three different ways depending on whether the person was thinking mg/mL or mg/dose or something else entirely. Stating the units makes that impossible.

Five questions in one post gets you one answer: the easiest one, usually not the one you needed most. Post them separately or pick the one that depends on the others least and ask that one first.

I looked this up rather than remembered it, which is the right order.
