Fatigue in the first month: how much is the drug and how much is intake — what changed since Writing it up because I had to work it out twice and would rather nobody else did.

Something changed and I would like to know whether it should have.

Same compound, same supplier, same technique, 5 weeks apart, and the experience is not the same. I have ruled out the obvious differences and I am left with the ones I cannot rule out from here.

Before anyone suggests it: yes, I have the dates written down, and yes, I checked them rather than remembering them.

Reading rather than contributing, but this is the most useful thread I have found on it.

Narrowing post #14, because the general version has more than one answer.

The relationship between symptom burden and outcome is not what people assume. Feeling worse is not evidence of a larger effect and feeling nothing is not evidence of an inactive preparation.

Delayed gastric emptying: the mechanism behind much of the gastrointestinal side-effect profile. At extreme magnitudes, severe gastroparesis is a rare but serious complication. Distinguishing ordinary gastrointestinal effects from the rare severe end is a clinical judgement.

I would rather say I do not know than round it up to an answer.

Offering a way to settle Fatigue rather than another opinion about it. Two measurements, taken the same way, a fortnight apart. If the difference is within the noise, the question was not answerable at this precision.

The published rates come from populations that were titrated on a defined schedule with clinical supervision. Rates from a forum are not comparable and are biased by who chooses to post.

Constipation: common, manageable, and frequently under-reported because it is not dramatic. Increasing fibre and fluid intake helps. Over-the-counter management is usually effective. This is worth addressing proactively rather than waiting for it to worsen.

A weak preference rather than a position.

Fatigue is commonly described and hard to attribute. Substantial energy restriction produces it on its own, and separating the drug from the deficit requires a change in one and not the other.

Adding the caveat now so it does not have to be extracted later.
