ms_holloway, post #1: What a seizure notice actually says I have a specific reason for asking rather than idle curiosity, and the context is below. The question about seizure notice that I actually want answered is the second one below. The first is context and I have kept it short. Both are stated with units, and I have said what I already checked so that… Go to post

Anyone deciding whether a delay is a problem should ask what would change if they waited another week. Usually the answer is nothing.

The claim is narrower than it sounds, and deliberately so.

Coming back to post #5, because the follow-up matters more than the original answer.

Declaring contents accurately: declaring accurately reduces intervention risk. A declaration of "peptide research chemical, 5 grams" is better than "vitamin" or "other" because custom officials can verify a declared chemical is actually what was declared.

I will take the caveat as seriously as the claim, which is the point of putting it there.

Taking post #21 at face value and following it one step further.

Reading this seizure notice thread as someone who came in with a fixed view: the third and seventh replies moved me and the confident ones did not.

The most useful thing anyone has posted about seizure notice in this category was a table of what had been measured and by whom. That is what I would want again.

Source for the seizure notice figure, since it was asked for. It is in the discussion rather than the abstract, which is why the version circulating is stronger than the paper is.

Reading the surrounding paragraph is worth the two minutes. The authors are more careful than their summarisers.
