The C-cell question: semaglutide triggered medullary thyroid carcinoma in rodent toxicology studies. A signal in rodents does not automatically appear in humans, but it is the reason the compound is contraindicated in people with personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2.

Post #11 answers the question as asked. The question underneath it is different.
What would change my mind on semaglutide solutions is a second dataset collected by someone with no stake in the first. Until then I hold it loosely and I would rather say so than pretend to more.
Post #15 is right about the mechanism and I think understates the practical bit.
I would rather this thread reach "we do not know" about semaglutide solutions than reach a confident answer that nobody can support when asked.
Counter-ion form matters for the arithmetic and is almost never stated. A vial labelled 5 mg of peptide as an acetate salt and one labelled 5 mg as trifluoroacetate do not contain the same quantity of the molecule you are interested in.
I have deliberately not rounded that, because the rounding is where the argument starts.
