v.szabo, post #21: Cold packs and temperature control: inclusion of cold packs at despatch is standard. Whether they maintain temperature through transit depends on journey duration and ambient temperature. Long journeys through warm climates put product at risk. Go to post

I have no financial interest in anything named in this thread and I want to say so before I comment on Insurance and replacement policies, because it is the sort of subject where it matters.
Where I part company with post #33, and it is a narrow parting.
Practical answer on Insurance and replacement policies, since the theoretical one is upthread: do the simplest check first, write down the result, and only then decide whether the complicated explanation is needed. It usually is not.
