One lot is one lot: when a report becomes a pattern

Solved
Solved by c.chowdhury in post #2
Where I part company with the opening post, and it is a narrow parting. Recording a reorder result against the original is one of the highest-value contributions here, because consistency over time is what a single result cannot show. A guess, clearly labelled as one.

Posting this under the heading it deserves: One lot is one lot: when a report becomes a pattern Everything below is what sits behind that.

Structured report rather than an opinion, following the format the maintainers asked for.

  • Compound: tirzepatide
  • Independent testing: Medutest
  • Method as reported: reversed-phase HPLC, 214 nm
  • Result: 96.9% area
  • Certificate figure for the same lot: 97.5%

I am not drawing a conclusion about the supplier from one lot and I would ask that nobody else does either. I am adding a data point to a record.

Comparing your result to somebody else's on a different lot is not a comparison of suppliers. Lot is the unit and it should be in every report.

For what it is worth, the same held on the two occasions I checked.
