Temperature loggers worth the money — setting out what I have, and where I think it stops being reliable.

Something about temperature loggers worth the money does not reconcile and I would like a second pair of eyes before I decide which half is wrong.

Two sources, both reputable, giving figures that cannot both be right unless they are measuring different quantities. My suspicion is that they are, and I cannot see how.

Where I part company with post #7, and it is a narrow parting.

If you are not going to be there, arranging a secure delivery point is worth more than any packing decision the supplier can make.

The interesting part of this is the exception, and I do not understand the exception.

Lyophilised material is far more tolerant of a warm transit than a solution would be, which is why suppliers ship dry and why an excursion is not automatically a loss.

Small point, but it is the one that usually catches people.

Before the thread moves on from temperature loggers worth the money — what is the sample size behind the claim? I am not being difficult; I have seen the same figure quoted from an n of four and from an n of four hundred.

Adding the boring version of temperature loggers worth the money, because the interesting version keeps getting posted and the boring one is usually right.

Check the ordinary explanations, in order, and stop when one of them accounts for what you are seeing. Most of the time the second one does.
