Clarity is a weak test. A solution can lose a significant fraction of its active content to degradation or adsorption while remaining perfectly clear.

This is the sort of thing the wiki should carry and currently does not.

GEldridge, post #21: Post #18 put the caveat in the right place and I want to underline it. Visible particulate is a strong signal in the other direction: it is a reason to stop and ask rather than to filter and proceed. That is one dataset and I would not build a rule on it. Go to post

Answering the question post #62 raises rather than the one it answers.

Visible particulate is a strong signal in the other direction: it is a reason to stop and ask rather than to filter and proceed.

It reads as pedantry until the day it does not.

Second-hand, so weight it accordingly.

Everything in post #71 holds. The case it does not cover is the one I have.

Visible particulate is a strong signal in the other direction: it is a reason to stop and ask rather than to filter and proceed.

Happy to be corrected if someone holds better data than mine.

Building on post #72 rather than restating it.

Temperature excursions in transit are common and are not all equal. A few hours warm is a different event from three days warm, and neither is visible in the vial on arrival.

That is the practical version. The rigorous version is longer and says the same thing.

Post #72 answers the question as asked. The question underneath it is different.

Visible particulate is a strong signal in the other direction: it is a reason to stop and ask rather than to filter and proceed.

Adding it because I spent an afternoon working it out and nobody should have to twice.

Coming back to post #83, because the follow-up matters more than the original answer.

Reporting the observation and leaving the explanation open deliberately.
