Ask what happens if the material fails independent testing before you order, not afterwards. The answer is informative and costs one email.
I would want a second opinion before relying on that.
Order confirmations that state the lot to be shipped are rare and are the single most useful thing a supplier can put on one.
Bank transfer and finality: once a bank transfer is sent, it is final. The money is gone. There is no recourse with the bank if the supplier disappears. That is why supplier reputation matters if using transfers.
If that reads as pedantic, it is, and it has saved me twice.
Cryptocurrency for payment: offers less fraud protection than credit cards and is final like bank transfer. Advantage: no geographic restrictions and no intermediary can reverse it. Disadvantage: if you send to a wrong address, it is lost.
