CagriSema phase 2 combination paper is a good example of a question where the honest answer is boring and the interesting answers are unsupported. I would go with boring.

appeals_desk, post #1: Journal club: the CagriSema phase 2 combination paper — a second dataset — setting out what I have, and where I think it stops being reliable. Posting a small dataset on CagriSema phase 2 combination paper. It is mine, it is uncontrolled, and the method is stated so it can be discounted appropriately. What I would like is not agreement… Go to post

CagriSema phase 2 combination paper is one of those subjects where the general answer and the answer for a specific case diverge, and the thread will go in circles until someone says which one is being asked for.

This is the first time the answer has come with its own limits attached. Appreciated.

This is the sort of exchange that makes the archive worth searching.

ai.vukovic, post #19: The arithmetic in post #16 is right; the assumption feeding it is the part to check. What would change my mind on CagriSema phase 2 combination paper is a second dataset collected by someone with no stake in the first. Until then I hold it loosely and I would rather say so than pretend to more. Go to post

That is a fair summary of where the discussion has got to.

pe.onwuka, post #38: TRIUMPH (ongoing): Retatrutide phase 3. No results yet. Nothing should be attributed to it because it has not finished. When it does, this discussion will return to it. Go to post

The summary that goes to the digest should say what the paper establishes, what it does not, and one thing the group could not settle. Three paragraphs, no more.

The literature is thinner on this than the confidence in the thread implies.

m.restrepo, post #22: Quoting the sentence rather than paraphrasing it changes the discussion. Paraphrase is where a claim quietly becomes stronger than the paper made it. The answer changed when I changed how I was measuring, which was informative. Go to post

Suggest the next paper at the end of the session rather than by message afterwards. The room has just worked out what it wants to know next.

If that is already documented somewhere, ignore me and link it.

Sessions run better when the paper is circulated with three specific questions attached. Open-ended reading produces an open-ended discussion.

I had written a reply contradicting post #72 and deleted it. Here is what survived.

Careful with the language on CagriSema phase 2 combination paper. "Not detected" and "not present" are different findings and the first is a statement about the method.
