Renal considerations around higher protein intake apply to people with existing renal impairment and are frequently generalised beyond that population.
Follow-up: Tracking intake honestly when appetite is absent posts 91–107
This is a continuation of a long topic, addressed by post number rather than by page. Start at post 1 · go to the accepted answer.

This follows post #91 rather than contradicting it.
Where somebody reports losing strength, intake and training stimulus are the first two things to look at rather than the compound.
Genuinely open to being wrong about this one.
Reading this Tracking intake thread as someone who came in with a fixed view: the third and seventh replies moved me and the confident ones did not.
Picking up post #94: that is the part I would want checked first.
Meeting protein targets on suppressed appetite: this is where the practical difficulty lies. Eating more protein when appetite is suppressed is genuinely hard. Front-loading the day, prioritising density over volume, and accepting this is a problem worth solving all help.
I would rather be precise about what I do not know than vague about what I do.
On post #97 — agreed on the reasoning, with one qualification.
Distribution across the day appears to matter less than total for most outcomes, and it matters practically because a single large meal is harder when appetite is reduced.
Filing this under things that are true until someone shows me otherwise.
The arithmetic in post #98 is right; the assumption feeding it is the part to check.
What I would check first on Tracking intake is whether the thing being measured moved or whether the way of measuring it moved. Those look identical in a graph.
The thing about Tracking intake that took me longest to accept is that a plausible mechanism is not evidence of an effect. It is a reason to look, not a result.
Posting my Tracking intake numbers with the method attached so they can be discounted properly. Uncontrolled, unblinded, and collected by someone who wanted a particular answer.
Useful. I have added it to my own notes with the date on it.
Fibre: adequate fibre intake supports fullness and gut motility, both of which matter during the gastrointestinal effects of these compounds. High fibre on top of appetite suppression requires attention to hydration and gradual introduction.
I am aware this is the third time this month I have made this point.
