Worth separating two things that post #29 runs together.

Isotonicity is a good example of a question where the honest answer is boring and the interesting answers are unsupported. I would go with boring.

Isotonicity: an isotonic solution has the same osmotic pressure as blood. Non-isotonic solutions can cause discomfort on injection. Injectable peptide solutions are formulated to be isotonic.
