Adding a note of thanks rather than an opinion. I did not know most of that.
The arithmetic in post #32 is right; the assumption feeding it is the part to check.
The practical version of transporting a vial is three sentences long. The rigorous version is three pages and reaches the same conclusion with the conditions attached.
Protecting from light: amber vials or opaque containers reduce light exposure. If you are storing for long periods and light matters, this is worth doing. For short-term prepared solutions, ordinary storage away from direct sunlight is usually adequate.
Post #34 describes the usual case. This is about the unusual one.
Summarising the transporting a vial thread so far, since it is long and the answer is buried: the first reply has the method, the fourth has the correction to it, and the rest is people agreeing at length.
Worth separating two things that post #37 runs together.
Since transporting a vial keeps coming up, it should probably be a maintained page rather than a recurring thread. I am happy to draft it if someone with more direct experience will review it.
Temperature excursions: if a vial sat at room temperature for a time, the question is whether the excursion was long enough to cause damage. Hours at room temperature is usually low risk. Days to weeks raises the risk. If you are unsure, contacting the supplier is more informative than guessing.
I have deliberately not rounded that, because the rounding is where the argument starts.

Vial integrity: once a vial is entered with a needle repeatedly, the rubber closure degrades and the integrity fails. Using the same vial repeatedly over weeks or months carries increasing risk of contamination. Single-use vials entered once are lowest risk.
Old habit: I write down the expected answer before I calculate it.
Answering the question post #44 raises rather than the one it answers.
Container choice matters: the material of the vial, the rubber closure, the fill volume all affect how quickly the contents degrade. Smaller fill volumes lose less to adsorption. Glass vials lose less to leaching than plastics.
I would put this at better than even and not much better.
