I would keep Signs of dehydration worth acting and the decision it usually gets used for separate in this thread. They are related and they are not the same question, and merging them is why the last one went badly.

Answering the question post #36 raises rather than the one it answers.

Acute kidney injury: rare but reported. Symptoms (decreased urine output, creatinine elevation) warrant urgent evaluation. Severe dehydration during weight loss is a risk factor.

Written from notes rather than memory, which is why the numbers are specific.

The arithmetic in post #36 is right; the assumption feeding it is the part to check.

The thing about Signs of dehydration worth acting that took me longest to accept is that a plausible mechanism is not evidence of an effect. It is a reason to look, not a result.

Injection-site reactions that spread over a day or come with systemic symptoms are a different observation from ordinary local reactions.
