Reporting a real defect: on a long topic the jump-to-post link scrolls to the right post but the highlight does not fire on the first load. Second load is fine. Reproducible on my end, twice.
I have kept the units in throughout, for the obvious reason.
The reason timeline is hard to answer is that the obvious measurement and the relevant quantity are not the same thing, and substituting one for the other is silent.
What I would want before treating timeline as settled: the method, the sample, and whether anyone tried to find the opposite result. Two of the three are usually missing.
Post #28 describes the usual case. This is about the unusual one.
That would also be the fastest way for a new member to understand what R6 actually catches, which is narrower than people assume from the text.
A qualification I should have led with rather than closed on.
Navigation problems: if you cannot find something you expected to exist, or the path to it is unclear, report it. Site architecture affects usability.
Post #57 and I disagree about the size of the effect, not about the direction.
An update on my earlier timeline post: the pattern held for another six weeks and then stopped, which I did not predict and cannot explain.
What I would tell a new member reading about timeline for the first time: the confident posts are not the reliable ones, and the reliable ones are longer.
